New Jersey’s Republican Primary Summed Up In One Headline
New Jersey’s Republican primary for governor can be summed up perfectly by the headline of this morning’s edition of New Jersey Playbook:
Two-time failed Republican candidate for governor Jack Ciattarelli and talk radio host Bill Spadea have spent this entire primary vying for Trump’s endorsement and to be crowned the most MAGA candidate in the race. Besides posing for photos with Trump and other MAGA loyalists, both have also embraced his and Elon Musk’s damaging and unpopular agenda that threatens jobs, Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare, public schools, and key USDA programs that support New Jersey’s farmers and kids.
“A picture is worth a thousand words, and the photo ops coming out of New Jersey’s Republican primary tell Garden State voters everything they need to know about Jack Ciattarelli and Bill Spadea: they’ll put Trump first and New Jersey families last,” said DGA Campaign Communications Advisor Emma O’Brien. “While Ciattarelli and Spadea are busy making their MAGA scrapbooks, Garden State families are still waiting to hear how they will get to work solving some of their toughest challenges, and know they can’t trust either as their next governor.”
