What’s Doug Mastriano Afraid Of? Dodging Doug Literally Runs From PA Media

Latest News

Can we stop and talk?” — PA reporter to Doug Mastriano

This isn’t Doug Mastriano’s first time running from the press and from taking accountability for his extreme agenda — and Pennsylvanians shouldn’t bet on it being the last time he desperately dodges questions from the media. On Monday, after his own press conference, Mastriano refused to take questions on his dangerous agenda and literally ran away from Pennsylvania reporters who tried to ask him about his role in the January 6th insurrection and his extreme views on abortion. After he closed the door on an NBC10 reporter last month, he’s now posted two security guards outside his office to prevent reporters from asking him any questions.

Mastriano has made clear that he’ll only talk to right-wing media and conspiracy theory podcasts, and he refuses to answer Pennsylvanians’ questions about his wildly out-of-touch agenda that includes outlawing abortion with no exceptions and criminalizing doctors for performing abortions.

While Mastriano literally runs from questions about the issues that matter most to Pennsylvanians, he did not hide his celebration after Roe v. Wade was overturned. He also  brags that outlawing abortion is his “number one issue,” said Roe was “so much” worse than the Holocaust, and called “my body, my choice,” “ridiculous nonsense.”

In case you missed it, check out Mastriano’s latest refusal to answer for his extreme and unpopular agenda:
