In Montana Wildlife Survey, Nearly Every Other Gubernatorial Candidate Pledges Support For Public Lands

If there’s one thing that unites Montanans, it’s their shared love of public land access – regardless of political affiliation. But GOP gubernatorial candidate Greg Gianforte just doesn’t get it (maybe it’s because New Jersey Greg is more focused on building his fortune).
As the next step in his years-long crusade against public land access, Gianforte refused to respond to an inquiry from the Montana Wildlife Fund on his public lands stance
Gianforte can dodge questions all he wants, but we already know the answer – he doesn’t share Montanans’ values. Gianforte:

“Montanans from both sides of the aisle value their public lands – and even after his loss in 2016, New Jersey Millionaire Greg Gianforte doesn’t seem to get it,” said DGA National Press Secretary Jerusalem Demsas. “Gianforte can keep dodging questions on public land access, but his actions have already shown he won’t support measures to protect and preserve the Last Best Place. Come November, Montanans won’t elect someone as governor whose values are at odds with theirs.”
