Winsome Sears Campaigns With Out-Of-State Billionaire Who Fired Thousands of Virginians

Today, Winsome Sears is set to campaign with DOGE architect Vivek Ramaswamy, who is responsible for thousands of Virginians losing their jobs.

Sears is under pressure for proudly inviting Ramaswamy to campaign with her in Virginia after downplaying the impacts of Donald Trump and DOGE’s attacks on Virginia’s workforce, mocking those who lost their jobs, and claiming that job cuts were not “real issues.”

Sears campaigning with a Virginia job-killer like Ramaswamy comes as the state’s unemployment rate rose for the seventh month in a row.

“As Winsome Sears hits the trail with an out-of-state billionaire who gutted Virginia’s workforce, she’s continuing to completely dismiss and insult the Virginia workers who were fired,” said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. “At every turn, Sears proves she will always put loyalty to extreme partisan politics ahead of what’s right for Virginia.”
