As Republican election deniers run for governor in critical battleground states, Meghan discussed how Democratic governors continue to stand up for free and fair elections across the country.

Meghan Meehan-Draper: “At the Democratic Governors Association, we know who your governor is has never mattered more, and that’s why we’re going on offense as many places as possible in red states and swing states. This year, 80% of Americans will have the opportunity to vote for a governor. That’s 36 governors’ races around the country, and we’re seeing a really terrifying trend where we have election deniers running for governor in places like Florida, like you mentioned, but also Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and it’s critical that not only do we elect a majority of Democratic governors by the end of the year to uphold free, fair, safe, and secure elections, but that we keep election deniers out of office.”
