Governor Beshear: “I believe the party needs to be focused on the American dream: that simple but powerful belief that if you work hard and play by the rules, that you can get ahead, that you can secure a job where you make enough money to afford that grocery bill, to pay that utility bill… to take your family on that family vacation you went on as a child.
“We’ve got to be laser-focused on people’s everyday lives and convince the American people that we’re going to make their lives just a little bit easier and a little bit better.”
