Chip in today to elect Dem govs across the country >>
Democratic governors are leading the fight against Donald Trump and his administration – and they need your help. Trump and his allies have hundreds of millions of dollars to attack our candidates, and we have to make sure we’ve got the resources to fight back. With 36 races on the map this November, 80% of Americans will cast their vote for their next governor. We need to invest NOW to expand our map, win in battleground states, protect our blue firewall of Dem govs, and flip critical states from red to blue. Can Dem govs count on you to chip in right now?

MS NOW: Andy Beshear won twice in Trump country. Now he wants to show Democrats how to do it everywhere
“It is a focus on those [kitchen-table] issues — and ‘receipts’ from a job well done — that Beshear hopes will propel his slate of gubernatorial candidates to victory across the country in November, when 36 gubernatorial races will be on ballots.
“It is no surprise that a man who himself won statewide twice in a Trump +30 state has an expansive view of where Democrats can compete in 2026. He is particularly bullish on Iowa and Ohio — two onetime battlegrounds that have shifted ruby red in recent cycles but that polls suggest are in play this year.”

“This is our most important cycle ever. For most people’s daily lives, who their governor is matters more than even Congress. Because that job that you have, the wages that you earn, where you can get your health care, the quality of the roads and bridges you drive, the school you drop your kids off at, whether you feel safe in your community – governors have so much to do with that. And at a time when people are feeling anxious, I believe a Democratic governor can provide the type of leadership to better their lives, to make it just a little bit easier.
“What I see are people out there that are hurting, are struggling to pay the bills at the end of the month. They can’t take their kids on the same vacation that they went on with their family. They can’t afford a home even close to the same age that their parents were when they bought one… That’s why our Democratic candidates [for governor] are so important. They’re talking about bringing down energy costs. They’re talking about bringing up wages. They’re pushing back against a President whose tariff policy and war in Iran have caused every price to skyrocket. They’re pushing back against the Big Ugly Bill, which threatens to devastate rural health care… people, in Democratic governors, can see a person who’s going to step up, who’s going to try to fix it, but mainly is on their side – and my hope is that they see someone who is for all of the families of that state, and not just those that are in their party or share their same beliefs.”
