WATCH: Cameron Too Scared to Look Into the Camera and Answer Direct Questions on His Positions on No Exceptions, Public Schools
During last night’s debate, Daniel Cameron repeatedly refused to answer directly when asked very simple point-blank questions, leading to numerous brutal exchanges that made clear he’s scared to tell Kentuckians the truth about his extreme record.
Specifically, Cameron was asked directly – multiple times – if he personally supports exceptions for rape and incest, and similar to the three previous debates, he doubled down on his extreme stance and support for the current law that does not allow for exceptions for rape and incest.

Cameron was also asked about his support for an unconstitutional school voucher scheme that would rip money away from public schools and give it to unaccountable private schools, decimating rural school districts in the process. Cameron refused to answer directly despite repeatedly being on the recordsupporting vouchers throughout his career, including the GOP primary.

“Whether it’s his extreme and out-of-touch position on exceptions that give rapists more rights than survivors, or his education ‘plan’ that would destroy Kentucky’s public schools, Daniel Cameron has to dodge questions about his positions because he knows he’s too extreme for the people of Kentucky,” said DGA States Press Secretary Emma O’Brien.
