VIDEO: Wishy-Washy Wrongchetti Flip-Flops on Climate Change
Today, the Democratic Party of New Mexico launched a new video slamming Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Ronchetti for pulling a complete 180 on climate change.

The video shows Ronchetti telling University of New Mexico students that forest fires are the biggest climate crisis facing New Mexico, then pandering to Republican climate denialists by completely reversing his stance just one year later.
Wishy-Washy Wrongchetti is known for flip-flopping on critical issues — like when, after claiming his dislike for Donald Trump made him leave the GOP, Ronchetti kissed up to Trump during his failed 2020 Senate campaign.
“Mark Ronchetti is a failed politician who will say whatever it takes to get elected,” said DGA Senior Communications Advisor Christina Amestoy. “In addition to his lack of experience and policy plans, New Mexicans will see right through Ronchetti’s blatant political opportunism. Someone who constantly contradicts themself on the issues that matter most to New Mexicans isn’t fit to serve as governor.”
