Pearce Claimed Oil Field Equipment Company Rented Party Supplies
As more light is shed on Steve Pearce’s shady businesses, a growing chorus is calling for an ethics investigation into how he’s made his money. New Mexico law enforcement officials are now calling for a congressional ethics investigation into Pearce’s finances and business ties.
A report last week from the Associated Press revealed Pearce’s “party rental” business was actually a company renting out oil and gas equipment.
And yesterday, KOB reported that “several New Mexico District Attorneys say that he lied about the source of his income. They say he used his office to make millions from the oil and gas industry.”
