Today, Melissa Miller is joining the DGA as Press Secretary. Miller comes to the DGA after serving as Communications Director for New Jersey Congressman Josh Gottheimer, Press Secretary for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, and in various roles including Press Secretary for Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos.
Alex Japko will serve as DGA Deputy Press Secretary. Japko worked in Missouri for Attorney General Chris Koster’s gubernatorial campaign and has been with the DGA’s communications team since February.
