Today, President Trump unveiled a proposal to permit drilling in continental-shelf waters off both of Florida’s coasts, despite bipartisan opposition from elected officials across Florida.
“President Trump just made offshore drilling one of the top issues in this election, and Floridians deserve clear responses from candidates who want to lead the state,” said DGA Communications Director Jared Leopold. “Congressman Ron DeSantis, Speaker Richard Corcoran, and Commissioner Adam Putnam need to tell voters whether they are going to go along with President.”
