TOMORROW: Connecticut Gov. Elect Ned Lamont To Be Sworn In

Tomorrow, Wednesday January 9th, Governor-elect Ned Lamont will be sworn in as the 89th Governor of Connecticut.
Governor-elect Ned Lamont will succeed Democratic Governor Dan Malloy. Malloy led Connecticut through one of its darkest days, the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Malloy passed significant gun violence prevention laws, led on affordable housing, and enacted major criminal justice reforms. Malloy also served as DGA chair from 2015 to 2017, leading the DGA to key victories in states including North Carolina, New Jersey, Virginia, and Montana.
