Statement from DGA Chair Governor Martin O’Malley on the Results of the Montana Gubernatorial Election

Washington, DC – Governor Martin O’Malley, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, released the following statement on the results of the Montana gubernatorial election:
“The DGA congratulates Steve Bullock on his hard-fought victory in Montana. Steve ran on his outstanding record of helping small businesses create jobs, protecting public education, and keeping children and families safe from predators, and the Democratic Governors Association is proud to have stood with him.
“Montanans have placed their faith in Steve’s strong leadership, and know that he’ll build on Governor Schweitzer’s legacy of strong fiscal management and job creation, helping to continue moving Montana forward.”
