Seattle Times Editorial Board Calls Out Dave Reichert for Staying Silent on Trump Charges, Attacks on Democracy

In a new editorial, the Seattle Times Editorial Board is questioning why GOP candidate for governor Dave Reichert is staying completely silent about Donald Trump’s indictments, and urges him to make his views known to the people of Washington, writing:

“He must say what he thinks about the serious charges facing Trump. That includes allegations of trying to overturn the 2020 elections, hiding classified documents and paying hush money to a porn star.”

This is just the latest sign that the GOP primary will be a bumpy road filled with nonstop MAGA loyalty tests – or as the editorial notes, Dave Reichert will “not be able to avoid this conversation forever.”
