Ramaswamy’s Super PAC Admits to Spreading Lies About Dr. Amy Acton

V-PAC lies come after Ramaswamy campaign ads have also been debunked as “false” and “dishonest”  

In a stunning development in Ohio’s governor’s race, a spokesperson for the super PAC backing scam artist Vivek Ramaswamy “admitted” that the group has pushed blatant lies about Dr. Amy Acton’s medical license.

The admission comes from a new Popular Information analysis, which debunks a slew of “flatly false or deeply misleading” statements on a mailer from V-PAC. Dr. Acton was never called “incompetent” by the State Medical Board of Ohio, and one of her residency advisors called her medical knowledge “excellent.” When asked about other easily disproven falsehoods on the mailer, the V-PAC spokesperson “did not respond to a request for comment.”

This pattern of lies isn’t limited to Ramaswamy’s allies — his own campaign ads have also been disproven as false and “dishonest.” One Ramaswamy ad even tried to pass off a citation that actually debunked its own claim.

“Scammer Vivek Ramaswamy’s allies admitting that they’re lying about Dr. Acton is the first honest statement that he or his friends have made all campaign long,” said DGA spokesperson Izzi Levy. “Ramaswamy and co. have to resort to desperate lies and easily disprovable smears because Ohioans are rejecting his cost-raising agenda, and because they see him for what he is: a self-serving grifter who lied to Alzheimer’s patients to make a quick buck and will gladly sell out Ohio every chance he gets.”
