Last month, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that tens of thousands of Wisconsinites no longer have coverage through the Affordable Care Act – a stunning drop-off that came after Congressman Tom Tiffany opposed extending the Affordable Care Act tax credits that stopped health care premiums from surging. Congressman Tiffany also called Trump’s budget bill that gutted Medicaid and threatened rural hospitals “a major win for the American people.” Congressman Tiffany also pushed a plan that would have made Medicare a voucher system, driving up costs for seniors and eradicating these benefits as we know them.
