We need to invest NOW to expand our map, win in battleground states, protect our blue firewall of Dem govs, and flip critical states from red to blue. Can Dem govs count on you to chip in right now?

Potential Georgia GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Brad Raffensperger Refuses to Condemn Trump’s Attacks on Mail-In Voting

As the Republican primary ramps up, potential gubernatorial candidate and Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger refused to condemn Donald Trump’s attacks on mail-in voting in a recent interview, despite “repeated questions” on “whether he supports or opposes President Donald Trump’s effort to get rid of mail-in ballots.”

Trump’s efforts to make it harder for people to cast their ballots will hit Georgia’s seniors and service members stationed overseas the hardest, but gubernatorial candidates Chris Carr and Burt Jones have remained silent amid Trump’s attacks on Americans fundamental freedoms.

The question for every Georgia Republican running for governor is if they will stand up for the rule of law and the right to vote, or if they will side with Raffensperger and stay silent as Trump attacks our democracy and rights.

“Chris Carr and Burt Jones owe Georgia voters an explanation: will they follow Brad Raffensperger in putting loyalty to extreme, far-right politics ahead of what’s right for Georgia, or will they finally stand up to Donald Trump’s extreme attacks on our fundamental rights?” said DGA spokesperson Johanna Warshaw.
