Politico Moves South Dakota and Kansas Governor Races to “Toss-Up”

Politico: ‘Democrats in Kansas, Oklahoma and South Dakota are within striking distance of shocking gubernatorial wins’

Yesterday, Politico moved both South Dakota and Kansas governor’s races towards Democrats, rating them both as a “Toss-up.”
Today, Politico reported on Democrats in both states finding success as they’ve “latched onto local issues.”
State Senator Laura Kelly has rolled out endorsements from every living Kansas ex-governor–save for Sam Brownback. Kris Kobach has fashioned himself as Brownback’s man.
And in South Dakota, Billie Sutton has proven to be the “most troubling race for Republicans” as he faces off against D.C. insider Kristi Noem.
