A new video from the Democratic Governors Association highlights Lt. Governor Mark Robinson’s long and dangerous history of downplaying the January 6th insurrection and denying the results of the 2020 election.
Just today, a new report from WRAL reveals that Robinson repeatedly made light of the attack, calling it a “little debacle” and a “minor thing.”
“While Mark Robinson may think of a deadly riot where police officers were killed as a ‘little minor thing,’ the people of North Carolina don’t,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Izzi Levy “Robinson’s long history of conspiracy theories, election denial, and downplaying a violent insurrection are yet more proof that he is too extreme for North Carolina.”
