NEW VIDEO: Aaron Guckian Will Work for Donald Trump – Just Listen to His Own Words

Today, the Democratic Governors Association released a new video, “Trumped” highlighting the 17 different times Republican nominee for Rhode Island governor Aaron Guckian praised Donald Trump, the Trump administration, and DC during last week’s gubernatorial debate.

Over the course of the debate, Guckian made clear that he is running for governor to implement Trump’s agenda – from cutting health care to stripping away Rhode Islanders’ freedoms to hurting the state’s businesses. It’s no surprise from Guckian, who literally skipped two candidate forums in the week preceding the debate to fly to Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach in a failed attempt to raise funds from Trump family members. And in a move straight out of the MAGA playbook, last week Guckian demonized immigrants and working people by saying Rhode Island was importing too many “lower class” people.

Watch the video HERE.

“Aaron Guckian has made crystal clear that as governor he will do Donald Trump’s bidding – not what is right for Rhode Island,” said DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe. “Aaron Guckian is running to be Donald Trump’s man in Rhode Island – not a leader who will put the Ocean State first. Helena Foulkes is the only candidate in this race who will always stand up to Donald Trump’s attacks on Rhode Islanders’ jobs, health care, and businesses.”
