New TV Ad Exposes Tudor Dixon’s Radical Plan to Ban Abortion Without Exceptions With Her Own Words

Latest News

Put Michigan First is continuing to hold Tudor Dixon accountable for her extreme agenda by launching a new TV ad — called “No Exceptions” — that highlights her radical plan to ban abortion in Michigan without exceptions for rape, incest, or health of the mother. Watch the new ad here.

The ad, which is part of a TV and digital ad campaign across the entire state, highlights Dixon’s own comments on her plan to ban abortion — including her saying a 14-year-old victim of incestual rape is a “perfect example” for her opposition to exceptions and saying she won’t even support abortion to protect the mother’s health.

Dixon also supports the state’s 1931 abortion ban, which would enforce ripping away women’s rights by criminalizing medical providers and throwing nurses in jail.

This comes as a new report recently revealed that Dixon has been defending her dangerous position by absurdly claiming that protecting abortion rights benefits child predators.

“Tudor Dixon’s agenda is too radical for Michigan. She supports a dangerous abortion ban with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the health of the mother — and wants to enforce it by throwing nurses and doctors in jail,” said Put Michigan First Spokesperson Sam Newton. “But don’t take it from us — this ad will allow Michiganders to hear Dixon describe her dangerous ‘no exceptions’ ban in her own words.”

See below for the full transcript of the thirty-second video:

Narrator: If you take Tudor Dixon at her word, when it comes to outlawing abortion, she’s told us exactly who she is.

Interviewer: Are you for the exceptions for rape and incest?

Tudor Dixon: I am not.

Interviewer: You said, “no exceptions.” But the question would be like, a 14-year-old who, let’s say, is a victim of abuse by an uncle. You’re saying carry it?

Dixon: Yeah, perfect example.

Podcast Host: No exceptions for rape or incest, or what about health of the mother?

Dixon: No exceptions.

Narrator: Tudor Dixon, that’s not acceptable for Michigan.
