Mountain Progress, a group backed by the Democratic Governors Association, released an ad in the Colorado governor’s race, contrasting Attorney General Phil Weiser’s commitment to lowering costs and fighting for Coloradans against Victor Marx’s extreme agenda.

Phil Weiser is running for governor to lower the cost of health care, build more housing, and protect Coloradans’ rights from the Trump administration’s attacks.

In stark contrast, Victor Marx has an extreme agenda that includes taking away reproductive freedom – and women’s basic rights. Marx has said that “women are emotional” and “sometimes they make the bad decision.” He has called abortion “evil” and has suggested that as governor he would lead a push to roll back abortion protections.
