New: Fulton County Grand Jury Subpoenas Mastriano’s Inner Circle — Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis

“The Fulton County Special Grand Jury Investigating Potential Criminal Interference in Georgia’s 2020 Elections Has Subpoenaed” Top Mastriano Campaign Surrogates, Giuliani and Ellis

Today, a Fulton County special grand jury “investigating potential criminal interference in Georgia’s 2020 elections” subpoenaed two members of Doug Mastriano’s inner circle — Trump’s former personal attorney and Mastriano fundraiser Rudy Giuliani and Mastriano’s “senior legal counsel” to his gubernatorial campaign Jenna Ellis.

This news comes after Mastriano and his allies have become a staple in the bipartisan Jan. 6 Committee’s investigation, including one where the C=committee played footage from Mastriano’s infamous Gettysburg hearing with Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani and another where Trump’s former Attorney General Bill Barr called Mastriano’s election conspiracies already debunked.

Over the last 24 hours, Doug Mastriano’s supporters marched in a Fourth of July parade while waving the flag of the Three Percenters — an extreme right-wing militia group — he was called out for his “Election-Takeover Plan, and now, two prominent members of his inner circle have received subpoenas by a Fulton County special grand jury investigating attempts to interfere in Georgia’s 2020 elections. Instead of focusing on the issues that matter most to Pennsylvanians, Mastriano’s obsession with election conspiracies has taken center stage in his campaign — and Pennsylvanians know it.

“Doug Mastriano is obsessed with dangerous election conspiracies, and his inner circle reflects that,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton. “Every day, more comes to light about Mastriano and allies’ involvement with the dangerous far-right fringe in the Jan. 6 insurrection, as he continues to put his extreme conspiracies and relitigate the 2020 election ahead of the issues impacting Pennsylvanians every day.”
