Today, Alliance for a Better Rhode Island, a group backed by the Democratic Governors Association, released an ad in the Rhode Island governor’s race, highlighting Helena Foulkes’ record of successfully taking on special interests like Big Tobacco and her plans to lower costs as governor.
While president of CVS Pharmacy, Foulkes stood up to Big Tobacco and removed tobacco products from store shelves to protect people’s health. As Governor, she’ll fight costly utility rate increases and stop Wall Street from buying up homes and making it harder for Rhode Islanders to buy a house.
