Morning Joe: DGA Chair Gov. Tim Walz Touts Democratic Governors Delivering on Free School Meals
This morning DGA Chair and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz joined Morning Joe and highlighted the contrast between Democratic governors and their Republican counterparts, saying, “you’re seeing the contrast in this when you get a Democratic governor versus a Republican governor… money back in the pockets of the middle class, policies that are making a difference in our schools.”
Gov. Walz also continued to highlight the “big role” that Democratic governors play, working closely with the Biden-Harris administration to deliver across the country and raise awareness of the administration’s accomplishments:“Whether it’s wildfires in New Mexico or making sure that those job numbers stay up, we’re the ones benefiting from the Biden/Harris administration, meaning we have the tools finally…” to invest in working families and make people’s lives better.
