Lee Zeldin Brings In Glenn Youngkin To Push MAGA Agenda On New York
In yet another sign he’s all-in on the MAGA agenda, Lee Zeldin is bringing in Glenn Youngkin, who’s staunchly anti-abortion and has toured the country campaigning with other extreme election-denying candidates, for a fundraiser today.
Last month, Youngkin headlined a radical anti-abortion group’s gala celebrating the fall of Roe v. Wade, which is right in line with Zeldin, who applauded the decision overturning Roe, repeatedly voted for abortion bans, and supports a bill that would ban abortion without exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother.
Youngkin’s New York stop comes after he campaigned with some of the GOP’s most extreme gubernatorial candidates, from election denier Kari Lake in Arizona to hardline anti-abortion conspiracy theorist Tudor Dixon in Michigan.
Zeldin himself fought tirelessly to overturn the election results for Trump, who endorsed him earlier this month.
“Lee Zeldin wants to follow the Glenn Youngkin blueprint and bring an out-of-touch MAGA agenda to New York,” said DGA Communications Director David Turner. “With the backing of Youngkin and Trump, Zeldin has proved he’ll fall right in line with the GOP’s extremism if elected governor.”
