Democratic governors are leading the fight against Donald Trump and his administration – and they need your help. Trump and his allies have hundreds of millions of dollars to attack our candidates, and we have to make sure we’ve got the resources to fight back. With 36 races on the map this November, 80% of Americans will cast their vote for their next governor. We need to invest NOW to expand our map, win in battleground states, protect our blue firewall of Dem govs, and flip critical states from red to blue. Can Dem govs count on you to chip in right now?

LAWSUITS, WEBSITES, AND MUDSLINGING, OH MY: Georgia’s GOP Gubernatorial Primary Somehow Gets Uglier
New battle lines are being drawn in the “slugfest for MAGA voters” that Georgia Republicans find themselves in as their ugly, divisive race to the right of a gubernatorial primary continues to get even nastier.
Today, Trump-endorsed Burt Jones launched a mobile billboard driving across Atlanta promoting his campaign’s SlickRickJackson.com website that viciously attacks primary rival and MAGA billionaire Rick Jackson. Not to be outdone, Jackson filed a defamation lawsuit against Jones alleging that Jones’ campaign is based on “what he knows best: cheap and dirty politics” – only the latest example of Georgia Republicans trying to out-sue each other in this vicious and nasty primary.
“Rick Jackson and Burt Jones are continuing to wage all-out war in Georgia’s GOP gubernatorial primary, leaving whomever Republicans ultimately nominate dragged even farther out of step with Georgians by November,” said DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe. “We’ve already seen a new lawsuit filed and a promotional campaign for an attack website so far this week, and remember: it’s only Monday.”
