Kim Reynolds Displays Blatant Hypocrisy on American Rescue Plan (Again)
Kim Reynolds is once again putting her hypocrisy on full display — attempting to take credit for the benefits of the American Rescue Plan after making it “abundantly clear she’s not happy” with the vital economic relief package.
This time she proudly labeled a $100 million investment from the American Rescue Plan in Iowa’s airports as “another example…of a strategic and responsible use of this federal funding.”
This isn’t the first time Reynolds has tried to take credit for relief she opposed. Reynolds has previously touted her administration’s efforts to use ARPA funding for housing assistance, ignoring the months she spent criticizing the plan.
“Kim Reynolds is a hypocritical politician who is once again claiming credit for economic relief that she strongly opposed,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton. “As long as Kim Reynolds tries to have it both ways, we’ll continue to hold her accountable for her failed agenda.”
