Kelly Ayotte Endorser’s “Posts Include Nazi References and Racist Remarks”

A new report from the Granite Post revealed that state Rep. Jon Stone, a “key political ally and endorser of Republican gubernatorial candidate Kelly Ayotte,” has posted “disturbing and extremist” content on his social media accounts, including “Holocaust and Nazi imagery, racist and anti-LGBTQ+ comments, and threats of violence.”

Here are some of Stone’s extreme social media posts brought to light by the Granite Post:

This is the latest in the ever-growing controversy surrounding Stone. Earlier this spring, it was revealed that he was fired after he “threatened to kill fellow police officers in a shooting spree, and murder his chief after raping the chief’s wife and children, all while he was already under scrutiny for his inappropriate relationship with a teen girl.”

Kelly Ayotte was given the opportunity to renounce and reject Stone’s endorsement once and for all in an interview with WMUR’s CloseUp Adam Sexton, who asked her if she is “standing by” Stone’s dangerous and extreme threats of violence. In response, Ayotte dodged the question — refusing to renounce Stone’s violent threats against New Hampshire police officers and families. Stone’s name is still listed on Ayotte’s endorsement page on her website, and posts of them campaigning together are still live on her social media.

“As more disturbing and dangerous information comes to light about Rep. Jon Stone, Kelly Ayotte’s failure to condemn him and renounce his endorsement continues to prove why she’s unfit to be New Hampshire’s next governor,” said DGA States Press Secretary Emma O’Brien. “Ayotte is only interested in boosting her political career, and is doing everything she can to win the far-right base, including embracing a violent extremist like Stone. If Ayotte won’t even put New Hampshire police officers and families first by rejecting Stone’s endorsement, how can Granite Staters trust her as governor?”
