July 19, 2019: The Day One Of The RGA’s Favorite Louisiana Talking Points Was Laid To Rest
In case you missed it (looking at you, RGA), Louisiana’s unemployment rate saw the biggest drop among the states in the past year and is its lowest in 11 years.
Louisiana’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 4.3 percent, the lowest it has been since January 2008.
“R.I.P. to one of the RGA’s favorite talking points,” said DGA Communications Director David Turner. “This talking point is survived in the hearts and minds of Ralph Abraham and Eddie Rispone who want to bring Louisiana back to the failed Jindal era. In lieu of flowers, take solace knowing that Gov. Edwards is moving Louisiana in the right direction.”
