Jack Ciattarelli Silent as Trump Kills Gateway Tunnel Project and Thousands of Jersey Jobs

Jack Ciattarelli said his “job is to help [Donald Trump],” and this week, Trump terminated the Gateway Tunnel Project, ripping away billions of dollars for essential infrastructure and thousands of jobs from New Jersey workers. Despite Trump taking a sledgehammer to New Jersey’s economy, Ciattarelli gave him an ‘A’ grade on the debate stage last week, and now Ciattarelli is standing behind Trump once again, dismissing Trump’s assault on this crucial project as something “nobody’s talked about” in New Jersey.

Ciattarelli has repeatedly refused to name a single issue where he and the President meaningfully disagree, even promising that he is “not going to be different” from Trump and vowing to bring an unaffordable and toxic agenda to New Jersey. He has laid out his plans to sell out hardworking families and make life more expensive by cheering on Trump’s chaotic tariffs and supportingTrump’s disastrous and deeply unpopular budget bill that guts Medicaid and raises New Jersey families’ utility costs by over $200 per year. Ciattarelli even repeatedly threatened to put a “10% sales tax on everything, including food and clothing,” “on the table.”
