ICYMI: New Video Exposes Mark Ronchetti’s Plan to Ban Abortion
Last week, a bombshell new video exposed Mark Ronchetti’s secret plot to end all abortion in New Mexico. The clip shows conservative pastor Steve Smothermon explaining that Ronchetti has been hiding his radical stance on abortion to win votes.

Smothermon says Ronchetti told him that “his goal would be to end abortion in New Mexico” and admitted Ronchetti is hiding his extremism “because we won’t ever get elected.”
Ronchetti has previously opposed abortion at “all stages of life” and touted his endorsement of National Right to Life, a group that drafted an Ohio law that would force a 10-year-old rape victim to carry her pregnancy to term.
“Mark Ronchetti is lying to voters and hiding his plan to ban abortion because he knows it’s too dangerous and too extreme for New Mexico,” said DGA Senior Communications Advisor Christina Amestoy. “The truth — which he’ll only reveal to his far-right acolytes behind closed doors — is that Ronchetti would strip New Mexicans of their reproductive freedoms.”
