ICYMI: Every State, Every Vote Co-Chair Gov. Kate Brown Joins National Voting Reform Call to Action with Democratic National Committee

Yesterday, Every State, Every Vote Co-Chair Oregon Gov. Kate Brown participated in a National Voting Reform Call to Action with DNC Chair Tom Perez, DNC Chief Executive Officer Seema Nanda, and DNC Vice Chair for Civic Engagement and Voter Participation Karen Carter Peterson. Gov. Brown spoke on Democrats’ efforts to provide safe, accessible, and secure voting for the 2020 election and beyond.
The coronavirus pandemic will impact the upcoming elections in unprecedented ways, as evidenced by the GOP-induced chaos in Wisconsin. Last week, Every State, Every Vote Co-Chairs Gov. Brown and Stacey Abrams called on Congress to grant $4 billion in election assistance to the states. Brown also outlined the importance of vote-by-mail in a Newsweek op-ed.
