Governors Shumlin and Hassan Urge Passage of Unemployment Extension
Today Governor of Vermont and DGA Chair Peter Shumlin and Governor Maggie Hassan sent a letter to Speaker John Boehner and Leader Nancy Pelosi urging the passage of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Extension Act. This bill would provide economic support for the over 2 million Americans still struggling to find work after years of recession and job loss.
