Governor Tomblin Presents Records Management and Preservation Board Grants
Thirty county commissions receive a total of $427,540
CHARLESTON, W.Va. –Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today presented thirty West Virginia county commissions with grants, totaling $427,540, for their respective records management and preservation projects. These projects, approved by the Records Management and Preservation Board (RMPB), will improve management, storage conditions, access, and preservation of public records held in county government offices.
“Every West Virginia county, and the people who call them home, have a story to tell and these grant funds will help preserve those stories for generations to come,” Gov. Tomblin said.
