Gov. Gretchen Whitmer In New Ad: “We’re Not Stopping ’Til We Finish the Damn Job”
Put Michigan First is releasing a new ad — “Start” — featuring Gov. Gretchen Whitmer highlighting how her critical infrastructure investments have repaired 13,000 lane miles of roads and supported 82,000 good-paying jobs, getting real results to “fix the damn roads.”
Gov. Whitmer accomplished these huge improvements with bipartisan support and without raising taxes, and she has no plans to slow down, saying “we’re not stopping ’til we finish the damn job.”

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer: Here’s the deal. 13,000 lane miles repaired or rebuilt with the right mix of materials, so they are made to last. Supporting 82,000 good-paying jobs for Michiganders.
And we’re just getting started. We’re on track for 22,000 lane miles and over 1,000 bridges.
And I worked with both parties to pass a bipartisan infrastructure plan to do even more — all without raising taxes.
