Gov. Beshear Crushes Cameron in Fifth Straight Debate
On the heels of Gov. Beshear’s debate victory tonight, DGA Political Director Chris Sloan released the following statement:
“Gov. Andy Beshear completely wiped the floor with Daniel Cameron tonight – and in the previous four debates. He focused on delivering real results like record economic growth, keeping families safe, capping the cost of insulin, and legalizing sports betting – all while serving as a shining example of how to put politics aside, bring people together, and stand up for Kentucky values.
Meanwhile, Daniel Cameron only relied on petty, partisan games and refused to answer numerous direct questions about his extreme record of supporting a plan to dismantle public schools, attacking health care for families, and supporting the extreme abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest.
With only two weeks left until Election Day, these major debate victories add to Gov. Beshear’s growing momentum as we continue to keep our foot on the gas.”
