“God Bless His Heart” Roundup: Trump Went All-In, Came Up Empty In Louisiana

President Trump went all-in on Louisiana and Kentucky’s gubernatorial races. And he lost big in both.
At a rally in Bossier, Louisiana on Thursday, President Trump said, “So, Trump took a loss. So you got to give me a big win, please. OK? OK?”
But it wasn’t just holding three rallies himself.  Vice President Mike Pence also held a rally for Rispone as did Donald Trump Jr. Trump called into conservative radio stations, recorded get-out-the-vote robocalls and videos, and sent a barrage of tweets for Rispone. The RNC even poured $2 million into the race.
Mike Pence said that he and the president “left it all on the field.” Well, it was all for nothing.
Or as Gov. Edwards would say about the president, “God bless his heart.”
