Geoff Diehl Welcomes Kristi Noem and Her Extreme Views on Abortion to Massachusetts
Geoff Diehl just announced he’ll welcome South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem to Massachusetts to stump for him next month.
Noem is one of the nation’s loudest voices for ripping away reproductive freedoms. She supports her state’s extreme abortion ban, which has no exceptions for women who are raped or who are survivors of incest, and wants to ban abortion pills. She even said that she believes a 10-year-old child abuse victim should be forced to give birth.
Noem also said she supports prosecuting doctors and nurses who provide abortion. She didn’t rule out prosecuting women for obtaining an abortion in another state.
Similar to Noem, Diehl supports severe restrictions on reproductive rights and praised the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
“Instead of standing alongside Kristi Noem next month, Geoff Diehl should reject her radical agenda of banning abortion and enforcing it by throwing doctors and nurses in jail,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton. “In a state where an overwhelming majority of residents believe abortion should remain legal, Diehl’s making it clear he supports a radical anti-choice agenda that is not only wrong for Massachusetts but deeply out of touch. ”
