Geoff Diehl Calls on Donald Trump to Tout His MAGA Agenda in Election Eve Tele-Rally
In a last-ditch effort to reaffirm his MAGA bona fides, Geoff Diehl will welcome Donald Trump for a tele-rally the night before the primary election.
Diehl has modeled his campaign after Trump — he hired longtime Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski as a strategist and has copied elements of Trump’s far-right agenda like embracing insurrectionists and extreme abortion restrictions.
“I am honored to have the support of our former President heading into the primary on Tuesday,” Diehl said yesterday, “and I am doubly honored to have President Trump’s help rallying Massachusetts voters.”
The Massachusetts MAGA wing has gone all-in on Diehl since he earned Trump’s “Complete and Total Endorsement!” last October. Diehl has campaigned with diehard Trump acolyte and state GOP chair Jim Lyons as well as extreme South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem.
“Nothing proves how extreme and out-of-touch Geoff Diehl is like hosting an election eve tele-rally with Donald Trump in a state he lost by a whopping 33 points,” said DGA Communications Director David Turner. “This last-ditch effort to appease the far-right confirms Diehl would bring the MAGA agenda to Massachusetts as governor.”
