Former RightNow Exec. Backs Bullock Over Gianforte
Despite working for Greg Gianforte for over a decade, a former Senior Vice President of RightNow Technologies is bucking Gianforte’s campaign and backing Democratic incumbent Steve Bullock in Montana’s race for governor.
In an Op-Ed published in the Helena Independent Record, Susan Carstensen offered a strong case against Gianforte, after working closely with him for 13 years:
“I don’t believe that his success in business translates to success in public service,” Carstensen writes of Gianforte.
She explains how Gianforte built RightNow Technologies around a model of “eliminating and outsourcing jobs overseas,” and points to his opposition to public access, support of “extreme anti-LGBT organizations,” and budget-busting tax plan as reasons why Gianforte is wrong for Montana.
