Even Trump World Attacking Ron DeSantis for Cruel Political Stunt

Ron DeSantis continues to face legal trouble and escalating criticism from Floridians – including prominent voices in South Florida’s Hispanic communities for his harmful political stunt of lying, luring, and then sending migrant families to Massachusetts. In fact, DeSantis’ latest move is so extreme that even Donald Trump’s top allies are slamming him on Fox News.

“We have to remember that these are human beings, they’re people, so seeing them being used as political pawns is very troubling to me,” said Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and former senior advisor.

This comes as Politico reported the stunt “could undercut [DeSantis’] support in South Florida,” and commentator Charlie Sykes asked, “Did DeSantis really think this through?”

“You know you’ve hit rock bottom when even Trump diehards like Jared Kushner are calling out your cruelty as too extreme,” said DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton. “As he continues to neglect the real issues Floridians face, DeSantis is rapidly losing support for his self-serving political stunts.”
