DGA Statement Regarding Tom Corbett's Comparison Of Same-Sex Marriage To Incest

 
WASHINGTON, DC—Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, issued the following statement regarding Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett’s remark this morning that same-sex marriage is just like incest:
 
“Tom Corbett’s absurd comparison of same-sex marriage to the marriage of a brother and sister is offensive and demeaning to the millions of Pennsylvania families he claims to represent. While we know his extreme views are shared by many of his radical colleagues in today’s Republican Party, such language has no place in our discourse. Corbett must apologize immediately.”
