DGA Statement Regarding Governor McAuliffe's Inauguration

WASHINGTON, DC—Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, Chair of the Democratic Governors Association, today issued the following statement regarding Governor Terry McAuliffe’s inauguration:
“On behalf of all of our Democratic governors, I’d like to congratulate Terry McAuliffe on his inauguration as the 72nd governor of the great commonwealth of Virginia. Throughout his campaign, Governor McAuliffe promised to work in a bipartisan way to create good, middle-class jobs, build world-class schools, provide greater access to quality, affordable healthcare, and expand economic opportunity.
