DGA Statement on Utah’s General Election for Governor

DGA Chair Gov. Tim Walz released the following statement on Utah’s race for governor being set between State Representative Brian King and Governor Spencer Cox:

“With the GOP primary decided, State Rep. Brian King is set to face Gov. Spencer Cox in the race for governor this November. As a longtime public servant, Brian King has spent his career fighting for everyday Utahns and working families, and would continue that critical work as governor. His campaign is focused on building a better Utah where government actually prioritizes people over personal interests and politics, and delivers bold solutions to defend individual freedoms, invest in public education and support working families. Already, it’s clear that Brian King is the right choice to be the next governor of Utah and we look forward to working alongside him between now and November.”
