DGA Statement on Tudor Dixon’s Dangerous Comments About Kidnapping Plot

At a rally today, Tudor Dixon made a shocking and dangerous joke about how multiple people were convicted in a domestic terrorist plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Watch the video here.

After the conviction in August, a US Attorney who has served in Republican administrations said: “Today’s verdict confirms this plot was very real and very dangerous.”

DGA Deputy Communications Director Sam Newton said: “Tudor Dixon’s comments are dangerous, an insult to law enforcement who keep us safe, and utterly disqualifying for the role of Michigan governor. Dixon’s backers in the DeVos family and at the RGA should condemn her dangerous extremism.”
