DGA Statement on Tim Michels Winning the Wisconsin GOP Primary for Governor
DGA Executive Director Noam Lee released the following statement on Tim Michels winning the GOP primary for governor in Wisconsin:
“Tim Michels is a Trump-endorsed MAGA radical who opposes gun safety measures to keep our schools and communities safe, embraces baseless election conspiracy theories, and wants to ban abortions without exceptions for rape or incest. On top of his radical positions, Michels has a long record of unethical business practices — and he wants to give massive tax breaks to his wealthy friends, proving he’s just another greedy Republican who’s out of touch with working families.
“We won’t let Michels bring the Trump agenda to Wisconsin. The DGA looks forward to defeating him and his dangerous platform in November.”
