DGA Statement on the Swearing-In of Maine Gov. Janet Mills

Today, 2023 DGA Chair and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy released the following statement on Maine Gov. Janet Mills’ inauguration:

“Congratulations to Gov. Janet Mills on her inauguration to a second term as governor of Maine. 

“In her first term, Gov. Mills took great strides to improve the lives of Mainers — expanding health care, putting cash back in people’s pockets, ensuring access to free community college, and pursuing sweeping action to fight climate change. As a committed public servant, Gov. Mills has reached across the aisle to bring real results for Maine families.
