DGA Statement on the Swearing-In of Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly

Today, 2023 DGA Chair and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy released the following statement on DGA Vice Chair and Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s inauguration:

“Congratulations to Gov. Laura Kelly on her inauguration to a second term today. 

“In her first term, Gov. Kelly got Kansas back on track by working with both parties to balance the budget, fully fund public schools, ax the food tax, and land record-breaking business investments — and she’s just getting started. Under Gov. Kelly’s steady leadership, the road ahead for Kansas means more bipartisan results that will improve the lives of every family and community.
